I picked up this crappy IKEA coffee table thing last spring when everyone was moving out of the dorms for the summer and burned it until it stopped being boring. I used every pyrography blade in my collection, plus the blowtorch to finish this one. I burned in all my favorite things...there's a crazy border, a badass dragon, and the whole world's on fire. Hooray! Escaflowne nerds might recognize the little guy with the sword at the bottom. It's supposed to look like an altar table for some kind of insane money-worshipping cult. Maybe psychics can use it to tell the future of the stock market. I'm using it to hold my junk.

omg its done!! I love this soo much. If I lived near you I would buy this. You should put some type of finish on the top so if would fill in all the crakes and be smooth. So, whats the next project?

I need to wait a few days to let it cool off completely before I put any finish on it. Sometimes the black areas shrink up a little and need touch up work. I dunno what I'm going to do next. I need to keep scouting behind the dorms until someone throws away more crap to burn.

This is amazing. Truely beautiful. I love the shading in this piece and how you framed it. It looks medieval and old which is a very nice touch. The dragon is my favourite, the shading on him as well as everything else is brilliant, really breathtaking. ;) I love this picture. It is so cool! :D, Really, truely a marvelous job!
